LG Unveils Smart Home Appliances for Middle East and Africa at InnoFest 2026

LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled a comprehensive range of AI-powered home solutions designed specifically for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) at LG InnoFest 2026 MEA in Abu Dhabi, running from 3–5 February. Under the theme “Innovation, Forward Together,” the event showcases LG’s latest innovations in clothing care, kitchen appliances, built-in kitchen solutions, and total cleaning technologies, with a focus on user-centric design and regional relevance.

Returning after a seven-year break, LG InnoFest serves as the company’s flagship regional platform for media and key partners. Framed as a “festival” celebrating innovation and collaboration, the event reflects LG’s ongoing commitment to expanding its presence and impact across MEA markets.

AI Core-Tech Drives Smarter Laundry Solutions

LG is expanding its residential laundry lineup for the MEA with appliances that combine larger capacities, premium design, and proprietary AI Core-Tech. The latest models deliver a more intelligent and efficient washing and drying experience, featuring AI Wash and AI Dry functions.

Leading the range is the award-winning 29-inch LG SIGNATURE WashCombo, a premium all-in-one washer-dryer boasting the world’s largest capacity. LG has also expanded its LG WashTower series with a new 25-inch model alongside the existing 24-inch and 27-inch versions, offering flexibility for various installation spaces. The WashTower design integrates a separate washer and dryer into a single vertical unit, optimising usability and saving space.

Making its debut at InnoFest, the new 27-inch WashCombo is aimed at larger households, offering a 25-kilogram washing capacity and a 21-kilogram drying capacity. Equipped with LG’s DUAL Inverter HeatPump technology, it ensures stable drying performance and improved energy efficiency. The company is also introducing a new front-load washer with a flat, modern design, an integrated LCD display, and the AI Direct Drive (AI DD) motor, which adapts washing patterns based on fabric type and load size.

LG is extending its expertise to the commercial laundry sector with app- and API-based solutions that allow partners to remotely monitor and manage appliances efficiently.

Intelligent Kitchen Solutions and Built-In Designs

LG’s kitchen appliances, presented under the “Fit & Max” concept, focus on smart functionality and seamless integration into modern kitchens. The LG InstaView French Door refrigerator features a Zero Clearance hinge for a perfect fit, combined with AI Fresh technology to optimise cooling based on usage patterns. A new bottom freezer model also incorporates the Zero Clearance hinge and a sleek design to complement any kitchen. LG’s fridge range reinforces its position as the No.1 refrigerator brand in the MEA region.

The redesigned flagship SolarDOM All-in-One Microwave Oven marks its first full refresh in over a decade. With a semi-built-in design, a 2.4-inch LCD interface replacing physical buttons, and up to 60 Auto Cook menus—including Air Fry—this model enhances cooking convenience. Wi-Fi connectivity allows remote control and monitoring via the LG ThinQ app.

LG’s dishwasher range now includes QuadWash Pro, which uses micro-scale air bubbles to improve cleaning and shorten cycles, alongside AI SenseClean technology that adjusts wash and rinse settings based on dish contamination levels. The 1-Hour Wash & Dry function now completes full cycles in as little as 39 minutes.

Built-In Kitchen Collection Tailored for MEA

The new LG built-in kitchen collection combines high technology with minimalist design and large capacities. The Wide Combi built-in refrigerator has expanded from 540mm to 690mm in width, increasing internal capacity from 233 to 385 litres. The Inverter ProBake built-in oven heats food faster and more evenly than conventional ovens, utilising a BLDC motor-driven bidirectional fan for consistent heat distribution.

Total Cleaning Solutions for Smarter Living

LG is also showcasing its total cleaning solutions featuring advanced AI technologies. Highlights include the LG Wet & Dry stick vacuum with an automatic water supply system, and a new robot vacuum with 100°C steam mopping and a compact, table-style station with a concealed design.

“LG is committed to delivering user-centric, locally optimised solutions that make everyday life more convenient for customers across the Middle East and Africa,” said Hyoung Sub Ji, LG West Africa Subsidiary President. “Through continuous innovation and meaningful partnerships, we aim to create lasting value and shared growth in this dynamic region.”
