Open Startup (OST) has announced the launch of GROW 3.0, the third cohort of its flagship Investment Readiness Programme, aimed at equipping promising African startups with the skills, tools, and connections needed to scale their businesses and attract investment.
Now entering its third edition, GROW reflects OST’s commitment to continuous learning and innovation. Each cohort has evolved through insights gained from previous participants, offering a more tailored, hands-on, and practical investment-readiness experience that helps founders overcome real-world go-to-market, fundraising, and growth challenges.
The programme continues to build a strong pipeline of investor-ready startups across Africa, providing tailored mentorship, expert-led training, and curated global connections to help founders confidently scale their ventures and raise capital.
Since its inception, GROW has supported 32 startups across 13 industries and 10 African countries, contributing to over $10.7 million in funds raised and $12 million in combined revenues. Building on these successes, GROW 3.0 will deliver an even more immersive and personalised experience for the next generation of African innovators.
During GROW 2.0, the programme delivered measurable impact through:
-
106 mentorship sessions
-
31 targeted training workshops
-
Over 75 investor meetings
-
4 venture capital (VC) clinics
-
Collaboration with 40+ international experts
-
18 global exposure fellowships
-
13 access-to-talent fellowships
These insights have informed the design of GROW 3.0, which promises an even more hands-on approach to helping African founders refine their strategies, strengthen investor relationships, and expand into new markets.
