First Holdco Plc’s share price climbed by 4.46% on Tuesday as investors showed strong interest in the financial services group ahead of its third-quarter earnings release.
Data from the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) showed the stock closed at ₦33.95, up from its previous close, with over 13.74 million shares valued at ₦465.12 million traded. The surge lifted First Holdco’s market capitalisation to ₦1.42 trillion, reflecting growing investor confidence.
The company, which has seen notable price fluctuations in recent months, is expected to announce its Q3 2025 financial results in the coming weeks, a move analysts believe could influence market sentiment further.
In a statement to the NGX, First Holdco confirmed that its Board of Directors will meet on Thursday, 30 October 2025, to consider the unaudited accounts for the period ending 30 September 2025.
It added that the closed period, which began earlier in October, will remain in effect until 24 hours after the results are filed. “Accordingly, no insider of the company and their connected persons may directly or indirectly deal in the securities of the company in any manner during the closed period,” the company stated.
