FC Barcelona and Spotify Extend Partnership to 2030, Stadium Naming Rights Secured Until 2034

FC Barcelona and Spotify have announced the extension of their global sponsorship agreement through June 2030, reinforcing one of the most prominent collaborations between a football club and a technology brand. The renewal ensures Spotify remains the main shirt sponsor for both the men’s and women’s first teams, as well as training kits across all senior squads.

As part of the extended deal, the naming rights for Spotify Camp Nou have been prolonged until 2034, deepening the music streaming platform’s ties with the club’s historic home throughout and beyond its redevelopment under the Espai Barça project.

While neither party disclosed financial terms, Spanish media estimate the partnership’s total value at approximately €460 million - €380 million for the sponsorship through 2030 and an additional €80 million for naming rights until 2034. The extension was triggered by an option clause in the original 2022 agreement, which Spotify has now exercised.

Both organisations highlight that the partnership extends beyond financial support, focusing on shared values in music, culture, and fan engagement. Since 2022, the collaboration has produced artist-inspired kits and digital experiences connecting sport and creativity.

The renewed alliance comes as Barcelona prepares for the phased reopening of Spotify Camp Nou in 2026, during which Spotify will maintain its activation rights across both stadium and digital platforms.

With this deal, FC Barcelona strengthens its position as one of the most commercially powerful clubs in global football, while Spotify amplifies its brand visibility and cultural influence among millions of fans worldwide.

On the sporting front, Barcelona will face Girona FC tonight at 7:45 IST, ahead of a Champions League fixture against Olympiacos on 21 October and a much-anticipated clash with Real Madrid on 26 October.
