FC Barcelona have confirmed a new sponsorship agreement with Chinese technology brand Midea, which will become the club’s official shirt sponsor from the 2026/27 season.
Midea, a global firm employing 190,000 people and generating nearly €50 billion in revenue last year, is ranked 246th on the Fortune Global 500.
“It will be an honour for FC Barcelona to incorporate Midea into the great Barca family starting in the 2026/27 season,” Vice-President Rafa Yuste, who unveiled the deal, told the club’s official website.
“Their leadership in smart home solutions and their commitment to research and innovation align perfectly with the spirit of a FC Barcelona that’s looking to the future. This partnership demonstrates, once again, the power of the Barca brand as a magnet for companies from around the world who see FC Barcelona as the best platform for their projects.”
Details of the Midea-Barcelona Sponsorship
The agreement will run for five years, from 2026 to 2031, with Midea appearing on the shirt sleeve, replacing the current Ambilight logo. According to MD, the deal is estimated to be worth around €12 million per year, generating approximately €60 million in total revenue for the Blaugrana.
Midea, which specialises in home electronics, also sponsors Manchester City.
