Meta and I.N. Official Unveil First AI-Powered Fashion Collection at Africa Fashion Week London

Meta has announced a landmark collaboration with Nigerian fashion brand I.N. Official to launch the first-ever AI-powered fashion collection at Africa Fashion Week London, set to debut on Saturday, 9 August. The Autumn/Winter 2025 collection, titled Transcendence, was created using Meta AI’s advanced creative tools throughout the entire design process.

From selecting fabrics and colours to shaping the narrative and visual direction of the collection, Meta AI was instrumental in bringing the designs to life. The project demonstrates how emerging technologies are reshaping the fashion industry, with designer Ifeanyi Nwune showcasing how Meta AI—the world’s most accessible AI assistant—can support and accelerate creative expression.

Meta AI’s ‘Imagine’ feature helped bring the Transcendence collection to life by generating imagery from text prompts. These included bold new silhouettes inspired by a fusion of traditional African Agbada and Japanese Hakama styles, which served as mood boards for the design process. Meta AI’s search functionality also suggested innovative accessory ideas for both menswear and womenswear, adapting to creative prompts for functional yet artistic inspiration.
