Bigi Returns as Lead Sponsor of Nigerian Idol Season 10, Live Shows Begin This Sunday

The spotlight is back on as Bigi, Nigeria’s much-loved carbonated soft drink, steps in once again to sponsor Nigerian Idol Season 10, which goes live this Sunday, 25 May.

Marking its fifth consecutive year of partnership, Bigi – a product of Rite Foods Limited – reaffirms its role as a proud supporter of the nation’s top music reality show. This season is poised to deliver its most electrifying moments yet.

With the top 10 contestants revealed during last Sunday’s broadcast, the countdown to discovering Nigeria’s next music sensation has officially begun. Finalists Bosslady, Brammy, Ellacentric, JKenova, Khristopher, Lawrence, Mikki, Purp, Raymu, and Sally captivated the stage with performances that thrilled judges and fans alike.

From Purp’s stirring rendition of Adele’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” to Lawrence’s heartfelt performance of Timi Dakolo’s “Great Nation” and Mikki’s soulful take on “Let It Be” by The Beatles, the live show delivered raw talent and memorable moments. The celebrity judges—Ric Hassani, Omawumi Megbele, and Iyanya Onoyom – along with host IK Osakioduwa, were visibly impressed.

Biola Aransiola, Brand Manager for Bigi, reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to youth and entertainment. “It has been five incredible years of powering dreams, supporting talent, and giving aspiring stars a platform to rise to victory. Nigerian Idol is a celebration of the voices and stories that make our country unique, and we’re proud to be part of that journey once again.”

In previous seasons, Bigi has elevated the Nigerian Idol experience with exciting giveaways, including cash prizes, shopping sprees, and other gifts worth millions. This year, fans can look forward to even more energy, inspiration, and entertainment as Bigi continues to spotlight talent, resilience, and ambition.

The competition heats up every Sunday night on DStv Channel 196 and GOtv Channel 49, building up to the grand finale on July 13, 2025.

So grab your favourite Bigi drink, cheer for your top contestant, and tune in for what promises to be a spectacular musical journey — starting this Sunday!
