Oguntokun joined ABinBev after about 11 years with Lafarge where she rose from the position of Head of Communications to her recent position before joining the beverage giant.
ABinBev is trading in Nigeria as International Breweries Plc. and Oguntokun is expected to take the organisation to a greater height in terms of driving its sustainability projects and initiatives and creating positive relationships with stakeholders through the appropriate management of their expectations and agreed objectives.
She is an expert in supporting businesses to meet society through policy development, forging strategic partnerships, funding; including steering corporate focus on the tripple bottom line in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).
She also has a record of building excellence by leading from the heart, going the extra mile and leadership skills – in working with and managing teams, influencing and empowering others; including leadership in the ability to think critically and creatively.
She began her career from the newsroom as Staff Writer for Independent Communications Network Limited (Publishers of The NEWS Magazine) before joining Corporate and Financial Communications Ltd ( now C&F Porter Novelli), a public relations firm as Deputy Manager, Business Development and later moved to The Quadrant Company, also a public relations firm, as Senior Analyst.
Her academic background include: The Polytechnic Ibadan where she had her Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication; Lagos State University, Post Graduate Diploma: Communications Studies; University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership; Master of Arts (M.A.), Communications, Media and Public Relations from University of Leicester.
