Turkish Airlines celebrated its membership anniversary at Turkish Airlines Headquarters with the participation of Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee, M. İlker Aycı, and Star Alliance CEO, Jeffrey Goh.

Turkish Airlines was welcomed as 20th Star Alliance member airline in April, 2008. When Turkish Airlines joined Star Alliance network in 2008, was adding new 31 destinations to the Star Alliance network, but today it makes Star Alliance presence available at 72 unique destinations in the World.
