The ceremony which will be hosted in Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos on Friday is expected to attract dignitaries across the marketing communications industry. A statement from the institute’s secretariat revealed that the choice of Mr. Shobanjo was reached after extensive deliberations among stakeholders who consider him deserving and worthy to deliver the talk at such occasion. The statement noted that his preference was informed by his rich repertoire of knowledge and experience in the marketing communications business which has been on for more than four decades.
NIMN had recently, in Ibadan, elected a new President, Tony Agenmonmen in a contest that saw huge turn-out of members from different part of the country participating in the electoral process. Agenmonmen who had since assumed his new role is expected to embark on sweeping reforms that would restore integrity and dignity of the profession.
