Samsung to officially unveil Galaxy S8 on March 29

Samsung is set to officially launch the new Galaxy S8, which it teased at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It will be unveiled on the 29th of March in New York.

Usually, Samsung's flagship smartphones are launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) trade show in Barcelona, Spain which is currently taking place but the new Galaxy S8 will be unveiled in the US.



The Galaxy S8 is rumored to share the LG G6's slender bezels and high screen-to-body ratio, wireless charging, dual-camera setup and waterproof design.

Samsung also dropped in another tiny hint, saying that AKG headphones would soon be available and would be bundled with the upcoming smartphone.

Meanwhile, Mobile World Congress has seen the launch of the Huawei P10, the LG G6, a new Moto G5 and a portfolio of Nokia handsets.
