Nairobi To Play Host To Microsoft’s NexTech Africa In February

NexTech Africa is a 2-day event created by a group of passionate Africans at Microsoft designed to engage, empower and inspire Africans will hold from February 2 – 3, 2017 at Radisson Blu, Nairobi, Kenya.

It is an opportunity to collaborate with technology leaders from Microsoft and across the continent; to explore local innovations that are making a global impact, and advance the discussion on what it means for technology to be innately African.

The theme for this first event is “Building for Africa”

Joseph Mucheru, Cabinet Secretary, Kenyan ICT Ministry will give the opening keynote address. Other speakers include: Regina Honu, CEO of Soronko Solutions; Celestine Omin, Senior Technical Consultant at Andela; Toni Townes-Whitley, Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Public Sector at Microsoft; Hoop Somuah, Technical Advisor, Office of the CEO, Microsoft; Scott Hanselman, Principal Community Architect for Web Platform and Tools, Microsoft; Ranjith Cherickel, Founder & CEO, icolo.io and other tech experts.
