Apple celebrates 10 years since Steve Jobs unveiled the first iPhone

When Steve Jobs was unveiling the iPhone a decade ago, little did the world know that the device will go on to be the number one smartphone in the world. Apple will today, Monday, January 9, mark 10 years of the first iPhone.

Apple acknowledged the milestone a day early, on Sunday, with the company's CEO, Tim Cook promising: "The best is yet to come."

"iPhone set the standard for mobile computing in its first decade and we are just getting started. The best is yet to come."
