The Airtel Wi-Fi service, which was rolled out in 2015, was established to serve public establishments such as: malls, airports, universities, hotels and event venues.
According to a report via nigeriatoday.ng, the chief executive officer of Ibukun Efuntayo & Co, Emmanuel Efuntayo said the deal was part of its current efforts to reward loyal visitors to the mall. Efuntayo further stated, in the report, that the wi-fi service will provide super-fast internet services to mall visitors once they are within the premises and log on to the platform.
According to Efuntayo, “When consumers enter the mall they can browse for free for the first 15 minutes.”
“We believe that given its status as one of the leading malls in the country, Lagos City Mall should have this facility in place. Shopping at Lagos City Mall is fun and we will stop at nothing to sustain the experience,” Efuntayo said.
