According to a release by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Otunba Dayo Adeneye, several programmes and activities have been put in place to celebrate the event.
The anniversary celebration, according to the SSG world start with a special Jumat Service on Friday, 29th January at the Central Mosque, Kobiti, Abeokuta.
It would be followed with a Town Hall Meeting to be hosted by the State Government with residents and other stakeholders on Saturday, 30th January at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto Abeokuta.
The activities continue on Sunday, 31st January with a Special Thanksgiving Service at the Cathedral of St. Peter, Ake Abeokuta.
Monday, 1st through Wednesday 3rd February, would feature the commissioning of various development projects across the state.
