Ronaldo extends commercial portfolio with Altice deal

European multinational telecoms firm Altice has signed up footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of the Portuguese national team, as brand ambassador across all the territories in which it is active.

Altice, led by French-Israeli businessman Patrick Drahi, announced an exceptional partnership with the Portuguese.

According to the deal, the telecoms firm will launch advertising campaigns in Portugal, France and Israel soon, which will also be adapted for Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, the Dominican Republic and the US.

The current world's football best player is one of the most marketable athletes. He has an endorsement portfolio that includes Tag Heuer watches, Nike, Coca-Cola, Konami, Castrol, Banco Espirito Santo, and Emirates.
