In Rwanda, MERGIMS Emerge Winner In The Seedstars Competition

Market Mergers Ltd., developers of Mobile Commerce app MERGIMS, has emerged as the winner of the SeedStars Competition in Rwanda.

In SeedStarsKigali, yesterday, Tega Holdings and SafeMotos emerged as the first runner up and second runner up respectively.

Other startups that took part in the competition include Asuqu, Yubeyi, Lycamedia, Grocewheels,  Cartoon Home Network, istayconnected, and mTiba

The jury for the competition included Paul Soko, Sara Leedom, Gregory Pepper, Anneke Evers, Patrick Kabagema and Clement Uwageneza

Market Mergers will now join other African winners like Airshop (Cote D’Voire),  Asoriba (Ghana), MyQ (Nigeria) in the global finals where the overall winner will win US$500,000.

The next African stop for the SeedStars train is Kampala, Uganda on the 11th of September, 2015.
