Calvin Klein Collection: Who stole Lupita Nyong'o's $150,000 Oscar dress?

The $150,000 pearl-adorned dress worn by Kenyan-born actress Lupita Nyong’o to the Academy Awards on Sunday has been stolen from her Hollywood hotel room early Tuesday, according to emerging reports.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s detectives are investigating the theft. As the time of filing this report, no arrests have been made.

The dress was a white Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein gown decorated with 6,000 pearls.

The London Hotel released a statement to E! News: “This is a terribly unfortunate situation, and we are working with law enforcement on their investigation.”
