Microsoft Partners The Future Project to launch mentorship programme in Nigeria

In a bid to provide web-based training to boost employability  for Nigerians, Microsoft has partnered with The Future Project to launch an online mentorship programme.

Aiki Nigeria seeks to guide young Nigerians in career planning, acquiring skills, entrepreneurship development, job sourcing and small business sustainability.

Microsoft said Aiki Nigeria seeks to create jobs for Nigerians through mentoring and will go live in December, hoping to reach 100,000 people. “In working with organisations, technology enthusiasts and governments at every level, we have emphasised the crucial importance of jobs for a new generation of Nigerians. This programme is a major step in leading a coordinated solution to this urgent problem”, Ugochukwu Nwosu, citizenship manager at Microsoft for Anglophone West Africa, said.
